Eating Well

Eat a balanced diet each day.

 

This is even more important if you are stressed. Not only do our bodies need good nutrition but our brain does too.

 

Remember the old saying “everything in moderation” – this is important, having a healthy relationship with food will result in decreased feelings of depression and anxiety, increased self-esteem, body acceptance and an improvement in general wellbeing.

 

If we do not eat well we are at risk of certain mineral deficiencies, such as iron and vitamin deficiencies. This can lead to low mood, irritability and other health problems.
