Do Something For Someone Else
Doing something nice for another person is a beautiful thing.
Feeling their appreciation will lift your self-esteem and make you feel good about your place in the world.
Feeling as though you are part of a community is an important part of your mental health because it promotes our sense of purpose and sense of belonging.
This could be as simple as baking a cake and taking it to work to share, helping a neighbour with gardening or offering to help with their shopping, you could volunteer for a local charity or just sit and chat with your elderly neighbour.
